I treat my parents like caseworkers because they belong in the same category of self centered introverts who are responsible for the suffering of children. My parents had/have a great opportunity to work to fix the system and they bought a condo instead.
Only a fool "makes friends" with people of such perverted values. There is a line that separates good from evil and my parents are on the wrong side of it.

Anon #1 : Jobs like teaching and social service dont pay. You dont make money in America anymore by gettting a "job". You make money by gaming the system or living off its excess. I have personally experience the quality of my fathers work..He is not worth 100x warehouse workers or whatever his bloating fat cat salary equates to.
anon #2 : No one is saying they arnt caring nice people as individuals. Evil doesnt always manifest with horns and fire. Its easy to be a pleasant person when living off the spoils of a broken economic system. How pleasant would they be if any of the problems of the world got beyond their money wall.
