DCF workers unfirable

"In 1992, Fleary was given a written reprimand for punching a colleague in the face."

This person is on paid leave while Florida looks into the many many red flags that should have alerted her before 1 kid was killed and the other horribly burned with acid. In my opinion the fault lies with the unions. Punching people should be grounds for immediate termination.

I agree and yelling at people should be grounds too..

You yell if there is a fire and it will save lives right ? Same thing.

Quotes

At a certain stage the realization strikes through that one must either live outside of society's bonds or die of absolute boredom. There is no future or freedom in the circumscribed life and the only other life is complete rejection of the rules. There is no longer room for the soldier of fortune or the gentleman adventurer who can live both within and outside of society. Today it is all or nothing. To save my own sanity I chose the nothing.
