UW to exclusively train social workers/foster parents

DSHS and the UW just inked a deal for the University of Washington to handle the training of all DSHS personal as well as foster parents. I got my training through Everett Community College and Compass Children's Mental Health Centers. I'm not quite sure what the benefit of this arrangement will be..other than making the programs seem more illustrious coming from a University. I cant imagine it lowering the cost or increasing attendance.
