Boston in 7 ?

ESPN is calling for Boston to win tonight's Stanley Cup Finals. I think its totally up in the air - the Canucks play completely inconsistently from one game to the next and Boston really has nothing but a hot goalie - which can be everything in the Cup. I will be routing for Boston - partially because Choose to Lose is in effect and they wont have my tears - and partially because of predictions like this ::

"The dive"
Against which Bruins player will Maxim Lapierre feign a ghastly injury in Game 7 in the hopes of drawing a penalty? Having pretended to have been impaled by Chara in Game 5, we are guessing he will throw himself to the ice like a sack of potatoes when he brushes against Johnny Boychuk or fling himself into the end glass while passing Adam McQuaid.
Prediction: We'll see it."

I have felt at times that I've been watching soccer with all the flopping the euro-trash players on the Canucks have been doing. "Working" for penalties is about un-hockey as can be - this is a sport where you punch someone in the face if you dont like their play - you dont depend on some dude with a whistle to win nor fall down on the ground crying like a frenchie. I want Vancouver to win - but like the Canucks with Mark Messier, this Canuck team is a bunch of jerks and posers and if they arnt going to win right they shouldnt win at all.

Well you were right. They chose to lose.

Quotes

At a certain stage the realization strikes through that one must either live outside of society's bonds or die of absolute boredom. There is no future or freedom in the circumscribed life and the only other life is complete rejection of the rules. There is no longer room for the soldier of fortune or the gentleman adventurer who can live both within and outside of society. Today it is all or nothing. To save my own sanity I chose the nothing.
