I, for one, welcome our Dolphin Overlords

Kepler (NASA's special telescope designed to find out where in the Galaxy we are) has spotted another planet within the life-habitable zone of its star. 600 years away if traveling at the speed of light, word is this planet is large enough to be gaseous but small enough to have major liquid bodies and a solid core..Its surface is also a lovely ~72 degrees F. That's like Florida weather!

Time to stop wasting money on wars and invest in breaking/circumventing that light speed barrier so we can visit?

Quotes

At a certain stage the realization strikes through that one must either live outside of society's bonds or die of absolute boredom. There is no future or freedom in the circumscribed life and the only other life is complete rejection of the rules. There is no longer room for the soldier of fortune or the gentleman adventurer who can live both within and outside of society. Today it is all or nothing. To save my own sanity I chose the nothing.
