Washington State loves to hide records

What goes through the mind of a State employee who says "this information is to secret for anyone to see". I mean really? Is there actually anything happening in State government that needs to be hidden from the public. Gov. Gregiore apparently feels the process she uses to determine who to appoint as a judge is one of these super secrets that needs to be kept from the public's eye. Another set of documents that she feel need to be hidden is the State's lack of revenue sharing with the indian casinos.

We are one of the only states that doesnt take a cut of the Casino money. And in exchange the tribe were some of the largest donor to Gregiores reelection campaign.  There are links to other refusals to share documents with the public by the Governor at the bottom of those links.

Quotes

At a certain stage the realization strikes through that one must either live outside of society's bonds or die of absolute boredom. There is no future or freedom in the circumscribed life and the only other life is complete rejection of the rules. There is no longer room for the soldier of fortune or the gentleman adventurer who can live both within and outside of society. Today it is all or nothing. To save my own sanity I chose the nothing.
