Boy in cage records his torture

Horribly sad sad sad sad sad account of a child whos parents abused him and made him live naked in a cage. CPS has of course been to the home a dozen times and did nothing. The child's body was found 2 years after his death buried in the ground and covered in concrete.

In all likelihood the CPS caseworker involved will get no blame, face no criminal charges and the taxpayers will be paying her pension for years to come. I can hear the defense - "well its hard to get a scared child to tell on its parents". I dont think so. Its pretty easy to get kids to talk, even the shy ones. The problem is that the people who work in CPS are not the kind of people who encourage communication naturally. They are often too "professional" (aka stiff). Most of the time they are overweight, older woman with social issues they blame their dads for. And in large part they arnt the creem of the crop when it comes to intelligence or courage.

In order for this "cps knew but did nothing" to end, we need a wholesale change in the way we hire people for public work. If it were me I'd hire all those pedophiles (seducers not the violent rapists) living under bridges to accompany workers on home visits. They clearly have a talent for relating to children and sometimes it take a criminal to sniff out another.

Quotes

At a certain stage the realization strikes through that one must either live outside of society's bonds or die of absolute boredom. There is no future or freedom in the circumscribed life and the only other life is complete rejection of the rules. There is no longer room for the soldier of fortune or the gentleman adventurer who can live both within and outside of society. Today it is all or nothing. To save my own sanity I chose the nothing.
